Narrow gauge steam locomotive "11 °" of the Rügen Kleinbahn, epoch I,
Drive on all three axles of the locomotive via coupling rods, power take-off over all six wheels of the locomotive, motor with flywheel, NEM 651 interface, boiler, water box and locomotive frame to increase the pulling force made of metal.
The so-called Rügensche Kleinbahn-Aktiengesellschaft, or RüKB for short, was opened in 1895. With a route network of almost 100 kilometers, it was already a considerable network at that time, which was operated here with narrow-gauge vehicles. Due to the lack of, or later only inadequate, road connections to the towns along the route, the train was an important means of transport for the population. With the lovingly implemented vehicles on this page, an approximate operation can be reproduced as at that time.
