Motor with flywheel, coupler pocket according to NEM 362 with short coupling kinematics. Drive on three axes. Two axles with traction tires. The light changes white / red with the direction of travel.
AC model with built-in load-regulated digital decoder.
From 1932 to 1954, almost 200 of the class E 44 electric locomotives were put into service. The output of the 4-axle bogie locomotives was around 2200 kW, with a top speed of 90 km / h. The locomotives proved their worth in both passenger and freight trains and quickly became the “girl for everything”. The Deutsche Reichsbahn painted the locomotives in an appealing bottle green, with the chassis initially painted black and later red.
