In order to facilitate use with Vectron and Traxx locomotives in freight transport, the appropriate multiple-unit controls were installed. Furthermore, an Ethernet Train Backbone has been implemented for traction of the Autotunnel and future GoldenPass trains. The names with which these locomotives were labelled are no longer used. The work was carried out at the company’s own factory in Bönigen.
